7590-01 UNITED STATES NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION NORTHEAST NUCLEAR ENERGY COMPANY DOCKET N0. 50-423 NOTICE OF WITHDRAWAL OF APPLICATION FOR AMENDMENT TO FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE The United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission (the Commission) has granted the request of Northeast Nuclear Energy Company, et al. (the licensee) to withdraw its April 27, 1993 application for proposed amendment to Facility Operating License NPF-49 for the Millstone Nuclear Power Station, Unit No. 3, located at the licensee's site in New London County, Connecticut.

The proposed amendment would have revised the Technical Specifications to allow a one-time extension of the containment integrated leak rate test for Millstone Unit No. 3.

The Commission has previously issued a Notice of Consideration of Issuance of Amendment published in the FEDERAL REGISTER on May 26, 1993 (58 FR 30198).

However, by letter dated September 2, 1993, the licensee withdrew the proposed change.
