NRC INSPECTION REPORT NO. 50-498/93-24; 50-499/93-24
This refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. D. P. Loveless and those
inspectors identified in the enclosed report, of this office on July 4 through
August 14, 1993.
The inspection included a review of activities authorized
fer your South Texas Project, Units 1 and 2, facility. At the conclusion of
the inspection, the findings were discussed with you and those memaers of your
stcff identified in the enclosed report.
Areas examined during the inspection are identified in the report. Within
these areas, the inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures
i
and representative records, inspection of installed equipment and system
alignments, interviews with personnel, and observations of activities in
progress.
The purpose of the inspection was to determine whether activities
authorized by the license were conducted safely and in accordance with NRC
requirements.
Within the scope of the inspection, no violations or deviations were
identified.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules and Practice," a copy of
this letter and its enclosures will be placed in the NRC's Public Document
Room.
