requested, confirms the following points:

The-Bechtel work supporting safety related items in the ABWR Standard Safety Analysis Report (SSAR) are in compliance With the project Nuclear Quality Assurance Plan and Bechtel Nuclear Quality Assurance Manual,in compliance with 10CFR50 Appendix B requirements.
ii.
Engineering is controlled through the use of Standard EDPs (Engineering Department Procedures) which implement 10CFR50 Appendix B requirementn.
iii. The calculations supporting the SSAR have been checked and g
audits conducted to verify their technical content and conformance to applicable engineering procedures and QA requirements.
Early preliminary studies have been reworked for the SSAR submittals.
