Dear Mr. Gannis:
This letter is in response to your verbal request for information regarding the Perry Nuclear Power Plant, which you conveyed in a telephone conversation me on August 25, 1993.
Specifically, you requested historical data on annual liquid releases of radioactivity from the plant and you further requested that the information be presented in standard form, as opposed to the scientific notation commonly used in reports. The enclo:ed information was compiled from the Semiannual Radioactive Effluent Release Reports submitted by the licensee j
for the Perry Plant, as required by the plant technical specifications.
These reports are available in the NRC Public Document Room (P.DR), located in the l
Gelman Building, 2120 L Street, NW., Washington, DC 20555 and at the local public document room established for the Perry Plant at the Perry Public
[
Library, 3753 Main Street, Perry, Ohio 44081.
I should point out that the NRC does not typically respond in writing to verDal requests of this nature. Normally, any individual or group requesting information from the NRC must either make that request through the local PDR l
