DCLOSURE NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION'S THREE MILE ISLAND ADVISORY PANEL SCHEDULES SEPTEMBER 23, 1993, MEETING IN HARRISBURG, PENNSYLVANIA The Advisory Panel for the Decontamination of Three Mile Island, Unit 2, will hold its last meeting on September 23, 1993, from 7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. at the Harrisburg Hotel - Center City, 23 S. Second Street, Harrisburg, PA. The meeting will be open to the public.
At this meeting, the Panel will receive a presentation from GPU Nuclear Corporation on the status of preparations for long-term storage of TMI-2. GPU i
Nuclear will also discuss the recent completion of the disposal of the i
accident generated water, and the status of their decomissioning fund. The Nuclear Regulatory Comission staff will discuss the results of a study on l
costs to decommission a pressurized light water reactor, and a study on the j
Advisory Panel for the Decontamination of Three Mile Island, Unit 2.
