Submitted March 15.1993 & Julv 30.1993 l 6. Imponant licensing considerations associated with refueling, e.g., new or different fuel design or supplier, unreviewed design of performance analysis methods, significant changes in fuel design, new operating procedures:

Millstone Unit 3 current fuel design incorocrates a stainless steel skeleton and zircaloy .

fuel cladding desien. Cycle 5 feed assemblies will utilize zirlo fuel rod cladding:

selected assemblies will incorporate a zirlo skeleton. A Technical Specification change was submitted as ner cuestion 5 above. In addition. a Technical Specification change to increase the reauired boric acid volume in the Boric Acid Storage Tank was submitted on July 30.1993.
