Enclosed for your information is a report prepared by the Pennsylvania i
Emergency Management Agency (PEMA) on the offsite response to the February 7, 1993, Site Area Emergency incident at the Three Mile Island Nuclear Station.
i The report, which was. sent to Chairman Ivan Selin of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) by Joseph L. LaFleur, PEMA Director, on August 18, 1993, examines the response actions of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the counties of Cumberland, Dauphin, Lancaster, Lebanon, and York.
The NRC is reviewing the findings and conclusions of the PEMA report for any i
additional insights they might provide to the licensee's actions in response to the event which the NRC is examining. However, the report is concerned principally with offsite response matters within FEMA's purview.
