ISSUANCE OF AMENDMENT (TAC N05. M77353 AND M77423)
The Commission has issued the enclosed Amendment No.164 to Facility Operating License No. OPR-61 for the Haddam Neck Plant, in response to your application dated May 19, 1993.
The amendment revises the Technical Specifications (TS) to reflect staff positions and improvements to the TS in response to Generic. Letter 90-06,
" Resolution of Generic Issue 70, ' Power-0perated Relief Valve and Block Valve Reliability,' and Generic Issue 94, ' Additional Low-Temperature Overpressure Protection for Light Water Reactors.'"
In addition, we have reviewed your response of October 1,1992, to our letter dated July 30, 1992, providing comments to the CYAPC0 response to Generic Letter 90-06. We have found those responses acceptable and with the issuance 4
of this TS amendment, we consider your response to GL 90-06 and Generic Issue 70 (TAC No. M77353) and Generic Issue 94 (TAC No. M77423) complete for the Haddam Neck Plant.
l A copy of the related Safety Evaluation is also enclosed. The Notice of Issuance will be included in the Commission's biweekly Federal Reaister notice.
