Changes to Emergency Response Data System (ERDS)

Gentlemen:

In accordance with 10CFR50, Appendix E, Section VI.3a., " Maintaining Emergency Response Data System", please be advised that Maine Yankee has modified its ERDS data point library.

This modificativa, completed on August 19, 1993, adds an alarm setpoint to the ERDS sttbility class parameter (STAB CLASS). Our data point library (DPL), ~ submitted to you t., Reference (b), contained a "N/A"'in the alarm / trip setpoint field for this; g,ameter. We added a computer setpoint so that an alarm is received if the delta

-temperature exceeds +5 or -5 degrees (F).

We in 3 ' this information is satisfactory.

Please feel free to contact us if you have wstions or would like additional information regarding this minor change.

Very truly yours, M
