Enclosed is an application for an export license (XSNM02770), recently received by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, for the export of five (5) grams of high-enriched uranium (98.65%), as oxide powder, for isotopic dilution analyses of absolute concentrations of uranium in rock and mineral samples for geochronological purposes at Istituto di Geocronologia e Geochimica Isotop in Italy. Assurances from EURATOM are required that the material will be subject to all of the terms and conditions of an agreement for cooperation.
