WITS ITEM #9200159 REGARDING COMMISSION BRIEFING ON INDUSTRY PROGRESS ON FIRST-OF-A-KIND-ENGINEERING (F0AKE)
In a staff requirements memorandum of July 6,1992, the Commission requested to be advised of when it would be appropriate for the~ Advanced Reactors Corporation (ARC) to brief the Commission on the status of F0AKE efforts in i
the industry.
ARC met with the staff on August 11, 1993, and is scheduled to brief the i
Commission on September 10, 1993, on the status of industry progress on F0AKE.
The staff considers its actions on WITS 9200159 to be complete.

The Commission also requested that ARC maintain close coordination with the NRC staff and that they consider returning to update the Commission at a later date when the FOAKE program has matured further.
