Murphy of this office on - l- August 16-17,-1993. The-inspection included'a review of activities authorized . for your Comanche Peak Steam Electric Station, Unit 1, facility. At the i - conclusion of the inspection, the findings were discussed with ' l Mr. Obaid Bhatty of your staff. l~ E . Areas examined during the inspection are identified in the report. These l ~ areas included observation of Thermo-Lag _ fire tests conducted at your selected i independent. testing' facility. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of selective examinations of' procedures and representative records, interviews -with personnel, and observation of activities in progress. The results of this inspection are documented in the enclosed report. In' accordance with 10 CFR' 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules ~of; Practice," a copy of _ ~this . letter and its enclosures'will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
