SUBJECT:
SCHEDULE FOR THE OPERATIONAL SAFETY TEAi INSPECTION (OSTI) - NRC INSPECTION REPORT NO. 50-458/93-25 This announces our intent to conduct an OSTI at the River Bend Station during the periods of September 20-24, 1993, and October 4-8, 1993. The inspection will be conducted utilizing the guidance in NRC Inspection Manual 93802,
Operational Safety Team Inspection (OSTI)."
The inspection objectives are to verify that the plant is being operated safely and in conformance with regulatory requirements and that the organizations that control and support plant operations are functioning effectively. The inspection will include sustained control room observations, observation.of maintenance W surveiliance activities, technical support for operations, review of equipment hardware, corrective actions implemented to rasolve deficiencies, and plant area tours.
The inspection team will be led by Mr. P. H. Harrell, Chief, Technica', Support Staff, of this office. The following individuals will assist in the t.eam inspection.
