Subject:
Task Order No. 4 - Modification Number One, Under Contract No. NRC-04-92-045 Entitled " Fuel-Coolant Interactions" In accordance with the task order procedures of the subject contract, this letter definitizes Task Order No 4.
This effort shall be performed in accordance with the enclosed Statement of Work, the Contractor's revised proposal dated December 10, 1992 and the following telephonic changes:

Reduce fixed fee by $1,354 from $24,367 (9.0%) to $23,013 (8.50%)
Task Order No. 4 shall be in effect from December 11, 1992 through December 09, 1994, with a cost ceiling of $295,110.00.
The cost ceiling includes the verbal authorization of $35,000 provided by Rosemary Mann on December 10, 1992, which was confirmed by letter dated March 8, 1993.
The amount
$270,743.00 represents the total estimated reimbursable costs, and the amount of $23,013.00 represents the fixed fee.
The amount presently obligated with respect to this task order is
$130,000.00 of which $119,826.71 represents the reit.bursable costs and the

amount of $10,173.29 represents the fixed fee. The obligated amount includes the $35,000 that verbally authorized on December 10, 1992 and l
confirmed in writing on March 8,1993, it also includes $95,000 which is being obligated by this modification.
This obligated amount may be J
unilaterally increased from time to time by the Contracting Officer by written modification to this task order. The obligated amount shall, at no time, exceed the task order ceiling. When and if the amount (s) paid and payable to the Contractor hereunder shall equal the obligated amount, the Contractor shall not be cbligated to continue performance of the work unless and until the Contracting Officer shall increase the amount obligated with respect to this task order. Any work undertaken by the Contractor in excess of the obligated amount specified above is done so at the Contractor's sole risk.
The Contractor shall comply with the provisions of 52.232 Limitation of Funds for this incrementally l
