The proposed amendment vould revise the license to reflect a change in ownership of Gulf States Utilities (GSU). Upon  ;

approval by the NRC and other regulatory agencies, GSU, f l

which owns a 70 percent undivided interest in River Bend  ;

i Station, will become a wholly owned sucsidiary company of ,

Entergy Corporation. The license would be changed by adding '

i a footnote that describes this change in ownership of GSU. {
