Zion Station Units 1 and 2 Annual FSAR Update / Submittal.of Periodic Safety Evaluation Summary Report.

Dear Dr. Murley:
In accordance with the requirements of 10CFR50.71(e), Commonwealth Edison hereby submits the Annual FSAR Update for Zion Station Units 1 and 2. Also attached is the Periodic Zion Station Summary Safety Evaluation Report. These reports address the period from January 1,1992 to February 22,1993 (end of the Unit 2 refueling outage), and have been prepared in accordance with the requirements of 10CFR50.59(b) and 10CFR50.71(e).
Attachment A describes changes made to the plant or procedures which were in effect as of February 22,1993 and provides a summary of the safety evaluation for each change. Attachment B is a Change Log which describes the individual changes made to the UFSAR~duc to analyses and changes to the plant or procedure which were in effect as of February 22,1993. Attachment C provides instructions for replacement of UFSAR pages as well as actual revised USFAR pages.
Commonwealth Edison certifies that the information provided accurately presents changes made since the previous submittal, necessary to reflect information and analyses submitted to NRC or prepared pursuant to NRC requirements.
