Contract No. NRC-39-88-211 Modification No. 31 Page 2 This modification is issued to:
1.
Extend the contract period of performance through May 31, 1993 with two, thirty-day option periods in accordance with a verbal agreement reached by Diana Clark (NRC) and Carole Gaudette (SI) on February 26, 1993 (the Nuclear Regulatory Commission shall obtain Small Business Administration approval prior to exercising either of these options).
a.
This extension shall be performed in accordance with the statement of work incorporated as Attachment I to this modification and 'tage Determination No. 86-1255 (Rev.16 dated 11/24/92) incorporated as to this modification.
b.
Tasks 1 through 7 of the statement of work shown in Attachment 1 shall be performed in accordance with the contractor's cost proposal dated February 26, 1993.
c.
Note: This action was initially proposed as Modification 30 to the contract.
Extend delivery of the full implementation of the redesigned front end (data-entry) system ( ARMS) from February 28, 1993 to May 18, 1993 in accordance with the verbal agreement reached by Diana Clark (NRC) and Carole Gaudette (SI) on April 1, 1993. This work is described by Tasks 8 through 11 listed in Attachment 1 of this modification and shall be completed at no additional cost to the Government.

Inc-ease the contract ceiling amount by $1,064,538 from $21,845,191.59 co $22,909,729.59.
4.
Increase the amount obligated to the contract by $1,060,000.00 from
$21,108,696.14 to $22,168,696.14.
5.
Substitute the statement of work attached to modification number 26 with the statement of work incorporated as Attachment 3 to this modification.
A draft statement of work was inadvertently attached to Modification No. 26. Attachment 3 reflects minor changes made for clarification purposes only and is effective from July 24, 1992 through February 28, 1993.
6.
Update Section I. of the contract.

Page 3 Accordingly, the contract is hereby modified as follows:
1.
Section F.2., DURATION OF CONTRACT PERIOD is revised to read as follows:
f "F.2.
DURATION OF CONTRACT PERIOD This contract shall commence on March 1, 1988 and will expire on May 31, 1993. The term of this contract may be extended at the option of the Government for two additional thirty-day periods."
2.
Section B.2.
CONSIDERATION AND OBLIGATION--COST PLUS FIXED FEE, subparagraph a. is revised to raise the estimated total cost of the contract as follows:

It is estimated that the total cost to the Government for full I
performance of this contract is $22,909,729.59 of which the sum of
$21,438,035.00 represents the estimated reimburseable costs, and of which
$1,471,694.59 represents the fixed fee."
3.
Section B.2. CONSIDERATION N4D OBLIGATION - COST PLUS FIXED FEE, subparagraph c. is deleted in its entirety and replaced with the following subparagraph:
"c.
The amount presently obligated by the Government with respect to this contract is $22,168,696.la (including a fixed fee of $1,424,091.90).
4.
The following paragraphs are added to Section B.2, CONSIDERATION AND OBLIGATION--COST PLUS FIXED FEE:
"1.
The total estimated cost of Option Period 1 is $284,489.00 of which
$265,878.00 represents the estimated reimburseable costs, and of which
$18,611.00 represents the fixed. fee.
J.
The total estimated cost of Option Period 2 is $273,524.00 of which
$255,630.00 represents the estimated reimburseable costs, and of which
$17,894.00 represents the fixed fee.
k.
Notwithstanding paragraph:, i. through J. above, the reflection of total estimated option period costs does not obligate the Government to exercise any of the option periods."

The notice requirement set forth in FAR 52.217-9 " Option to Extend the Term of the contract-Services
- is hereby waived relative to the options described by this modification.
All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
