SUBJECT:
HRC INSPECTION REPORT 50-445/93-27; 50-446/93-27
This refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. H. F. Bundy of this office on
June 14 through July 30, 1993. The inspection included a review of activities
authorized for your Comanche Peak Steam Electric Station, Unit 2, facility.
At the conclusion of the inspection, the findings were discussed with Mr.
Obaid Bhatty of your staff.
Areas examined during the inspection are identified in the report. These
areas included an assessment of the review process and results obtained from
Unit 2 startup testing and followup on a previous inspection item. Within
these areas, the inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures
and representative records, interviews with personnel, and observation of
activities in progress. The results of this inspection are documented in the
enclosed report.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," a copy of
this letter and its enclosures will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
