Subject: NRC Region I Inspection No. 50-170/93-01

An announced safety inspection of your radiation protection program was conducted by Mr.

Thomas Dragoun of this office on July 20-22,1993, of activities authorized by NRC License

No. R-84. Dieussions of our findings were held by Mr. Dragoun with you and other members

of your staff at the conclusion of this inspection.

Areas reviewed included organization and staffing, status of the implementation of the revised

10 CFR 20 regulations, radiation monitoring and environmental monitoring.

Within these

areas, the inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative

records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspector.

Within the scope of this inspection, no safety concerns or violations were o') served. No reply

to this letter is required.
