Dear Mr. Wingo:
As you know, on June 17, 1993, NRC's Executive Director for Operations (EDO) signed a new Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with FEMA on emergency preparedness.
The ED0 also reappointed me as co-chair of the NRC/ FEMA Steering Committee on Emergency Preparedness, which is responsible for ensuring that provisions of the NRC/ FEMA MOV are properly carried out.
As co-chair with you, I also share responsioility for appointing agency staff members to the Steering Committee and hereby designate the following NRC officials as members:
