Dear Mr. Chabot:
j lt is clear from the analytical tests that we have received that Englehard has detected elevated levels of certain volatile organic compounds and metals which are attributed to Englehard's operations.
Upon reviewing the documents tithd, " Radiological Characterization Survey Program for Plainville, MA Site of Engelhard Corporation" and
" Decontamination Plan for Interior of Plainville, MA Plant of Engelhard Corporation, it is apparent that Englehard is moving forward with a program at it's plant, however, we have received no information or viable communications that a clean up is going to take place on our property which has been contaminated by Englehard's chemicals. Under federal hazardous waste law and under the state clean up program I believe clean up is mandated for all contaminated areas.
