SUBJECT:
MONIES OWED THE NRC BY LLOYD P. EERR On December 4, 1991, Mr. Lloyd P. Zerr, 718 13th Street NE, Washington, DC, was indicted on a five count criminal indictment l
no. CR 291-018, in the United States District Court for.the l
Southern District of Georgia.
This indictment was for making False, Fictitious or Fraudulent Claims and False Statements in j
violation of Title 18 USC 287 and 18 USC 1001.
At the time of the indictment Mr. Zerr was employed by the Office of Nuclear i
Reactor Regulation, U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC).
The indictment was in connection with Mr. Zerr's fraudulent claims for overtime and travel-expenses that resulted from his employment with the NRC.

Mr. Zerr subsequently entered into an Agreement For-Pretrial Diversion with the United States Attorney, Southern District of i
Under this agreement Mr. Zerr agreed to make restitution to the NRC and assign over to the United States /NRC l
any funds currently held by the NRC to be used toward the repayment of any money owed in restitution.
As of March 12, 1993, Mr. Zerr owes the United States /NRC a total of $7,454.57 for false and or fraudulent claims he submitted to the NRC.
Mr. Terry Lloyd, Assistant United States Attorney, United States Attorney's Office for the Southern District of
