l The Commission has issued the enclosed Amendment No.12 to Facility Operating
.i License No. R-79 for the research reactor facility at the University of i
Missouri, Rolla.
l This amendment consists.of a change to the Technical Specifications of the Facility Operating License in response to the University's letter of June 4, j
1993. This change is to allow the extension of the visual inspection of shim-and safety control rods up to a year beyond the current surveillance requirement due date.
j A copy of the Safety Evaluation Report supporting Amendment No.12 is enclosed.
