Inspection No. 50-271/93-15
This letter refers to the announced physical security program inspection of activities
authorized by NRC Licen:;e No. DPR 28 conducted July 12-16, 1993, at Vernon and
Brattleboro, Vermont. The inspectors were Messrs. D. F. Limroth and R. J. Albert, of this
office. Findings of the inspection were discussed with members of your staff during the
inspection and were summarized by Mr. Limroth for Mr. Wanczyk and others at the
conclusion of the inspection.
The inspectors assessed the implementation of your Access Authorization Program in order
to determine whether applicable regulatory requirements reflected in your Physical Security
Plan have been satisfied. The inspection consisted of selective examination of procedures
and representative records, personnel interviews and observations by the inspectors.
We found that the Access Authorization Program is effective and directed toward assuring
public health and safety. No safety concerns or violations of regulatory requirements were
identified.
No response to this letter is required. Your cooperation wim us is appreciated.
