Dear Mr. Ballintine:
i The NRC staff is reexamining whether we should specify additional actions beyond those provided in NRC Bulletins 90-01 and 90-01, Supplement 3, regarding the Rosemcunt transmitter " loss of fill-oil" issue. An NRC review group, which I am leading, has been formed to aid in making this determination.
I envision the review group will want to interface with the cognizant Rosemount staff about the third or fourth week in June.
I will be contacting you shortly by telephone to make the necessary arrangements.
Enclosed for your information is a copy of the Review Group Charter.
