Dear Ms. Dandois:
Review of Invoice XT0291-93 The purpose of this letter is to identify an apparent error in the subject invoice and request a correction to the invoice pursuant to the provisions of 10 CFR 15.31, " Disputed Debts." Invoice XT0291-93, dated June 14,1993, identified $70,787.00 in charges for licensing actions for the period from September 29,1992 through Deceinber 26,1992.
Portland General Electric Company (PGE) has reviewed this invoice and determined that the charges associated with TAC item M83074 appear to be incorrectly assessed.
As indicated on the subject invoice, and as discussed with Ms. Marnella Rodriguez, Licensing Fee and Debt Collection Branch by phone on July 8,1993, the completion date for TAC item M83074 is listed as April 15,1992. This date is prior to the billing period of the invoice of September 29,1992 through December 26,1992. PGE requests -
that. the NRC investigate these charges pursuant to the provisions of 10 CFR 15.31.
Pending resolution of this matter, PGE will withhold payment for the disputed amount of
'$369.00 from this invoice. PGE requests that the interest on the disputed amount be waived pursuant to the provisions of 10 CFR 15.37(j). The remainder of the charges
($70,418) for invoice XT0291-93, will be paid as required by the due date of July 14, 1993.
