I approve the staff's recommendations., Alternative 3 and Option.3,
subject to Commissioner Curt!.ss'. proposal about required access to the LSS prior to DOE's filing of its license application.
I strongly endorse the. staff's plan to discuss this new approach with the LSS Advisory Review Panel prior to developing the proposed rule changes.
In these discussions, the' staff should
.make every attempt to accommodate suggestions that could further assure the integrity of DOE's capture.of non-DOE data.
