SUBJECT: NRC EXAMINATION REPORT NO. 50-321/93-300

This refers to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) administered
[
examinations led by Jonathan Bartley during the weeks of February 15 and 22,
1993. The examinations were administered to employees of your company who had
applied for licenses to operate the E. I. Hatch Nuclear Plant. Additionally,
a retake examination was administered to an employee who currently holds a
-
license to operate the E. I. Hatch Nuclear Plant. At the conclusion of the
examination, the examinations and preliminary findings were discussed with
those members of your staff identified in the NRC Examination Report,

Enclosure 1.
A Simulator Fidelity Report is provided as Enclosure 2.
A copy of the written
examination questions and answer key, as noted in Enclosure 3, was provided to
members of your training staff at the conclusion of the examination. No
licensee comments regarding the written examination were received.
In February 1992, four candidates from your facility participated in the
Generic Fundamentals Examination Section. Of the four examined, four passed
for a 100 percent success rate.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of
this letter and the enclosures will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
