Limerick Generating Station, Units 1 and 2 Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station, Units 2 and 3 Submittal of Final Draft of Nuclear Emergency Plan for NRC Review Gentlemen:
As discussed and agreed to at our meeting with Region I personnel on January 7,
1993, we are enclosing the final draft of the Philadelphia Electric Company (PECo) Nuclear Emergency Plan for your review prior to its implementation.
This Plan consolidates the existing Limerick Generating Station (LGS) and Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station (PBAPS) Emergency Plans into one common Nuclear Emergency Plan. We have conducted a review of this draft Nuclear i
Emergency Plan in accordance with 10CFR50.54(q), and concluded that this consolidation does not decrease the effectiveness of our site Emergency Plans.
We request that if possible, the NRC complete its review by June 1,
1993.
At that time we will initiate our final review and approval of the Nuclear Emergency Plan by the LGS and PBAPS Plant Operations Review Committees, and submit the approved Nuclear Emergency Plan to you in accordance with the requirements of 10CFR50.54(q) and 10CFR50.4(b)(5).
