Tnese young faculty men in tho' University of Minnes6ta Medical Depcrtment have been stirring up a lot of public misunderstanding throughout the country.
Ono of them has even been at Lake Cayuga in : Jew York State intervening in that project.
They are dealing with half truths, innuendos, and long-range forecasts of uncertain nealth effects.
They resist any sensible approach to a coopera-tive analysis of their claims and seem to be determined to confine their attack to a, newspaper and television approach.
I thin % this is a very serious problem of the entiro United States because it is causing misunderstanding and is making it very difficult to try to approach the very basic environmental proble:s which our society faces.
Wo.shall continue to do overything in our power to cor-rectly inform the public concerning the safety of nuclear energy.
