Dear Mr. Thorne:
Enclosed please find an application from Rosemount, Incorporated for a license to export two (2) Model ll53DD5PB Alphaline Nuclear Pressure Transmitters to the Peoples Republic of China.
These are replacement transmitters for the original transmitters which were shipped on September 28, 1984 under Department of Commerce export license A746474.
Before taking action on this request, we would appreciate your views, in accordance with established procedures, as to whether the proposed export meets the applicable criteria in the Atomic Energy Act as amended b/ the Nuclear Nonproliferation Act of 1978.
Sincerely,
/

Dear Assistant Director,
Enclosed please find our application for license to export nuclear equipment to the Peoples Republic of China and three copies of product data sheets 2388. It is has been our opinion in the past that this product is covered by ECCN 4363B but recently questions have been raised about its classification.
We therefore have submitted applications to both the Department of Commerce and U.S.
Nuclear Regulatory Commission to reverify our products classification, Please advise if further information is required.
Thank you.
