Dear Ms. Martin:

This is in response to your letters dated June 22 and July 2,1990, requesting clarification of the proper classification of Rosemount Pressure Transmitters, Model 1152 and Model 1153, Series D.

The NRC staff has reviewed the information in the product data sheets 2235 and 2388 provided with your letters.

The staff has concluded that the subject Transmitters (Rosemount Model 1152 and Model 1153, Series D) fall within NRC licensing authority under 10 CFR 110.8(a)(9). A copy of the 10 CFR Part 110 is enclosed for your information.
