' Shipment delay in reducing inventory.
1 Gentlemen:
1IRT submitted a license andendment covering a reduction in inventory a couple of days
- agoi It: was anticpated that, and stated that, the. waste broker would pick up the
- scintered oxide tuel pellets _ for transport to the waste storage facility ' on July 26, 1990.
This is not going to happen; I received a call from the broker the day the amendment request was-'in the mall informing me that they would not be able to relieve ut of the material at this time because of their own license limitation. The anticipated time for pick-
- up is near the middle of August,1990.
In the interim' the material is stored in our storage vault, and is in the form of 4 sealed sources.
I will advise you of the exact pick up date so that the license amendment can be properly processed.
