On May 25, 1990, Chairman Carr forwarded.the semi-annual report of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's (NRC's) Office of the Inspector General (OIG) for the period October 1, 1989, through March.31, 1990.
Although we have no specific comments.
on the Inspector General's report, the staff of the Senate Committee on Governmental Affairs suggested that the NRC Chairman expand his comments to specifically address the
= matters specifit.d in section 5b of the Inspector General Act.
