The figure is an update of the current figure listed in the CAVALIER Technical Specifications.
The proposed figure i
reflects the desired U.Va.
Reactor Facility organizational structure into the foreseeable future.
The decision-for this

organiz'ational relationship was taken by th'e Dean of the' School of Engineering and Applied Science of_the University of Virginia.

Given that the important independence between health physics andtreactor operations continues _to be maintained, minor l
changes. in - channels cf responsibility and communications in the

' organizational structure of the Reactor Facility opted for by University of Virginia should' be permitted by the NRC.
The
-proposed change will not significantly alter management quality'or scope.at the Reactor Facility.
The figure change will not adversely affect either reactor or radiation safety at the Reactor Facility.
