Pursuant.to paragraph 50.75(d) of-10 CFR Part 50, we are subt.itting a'decommis-e Mioning report.

Estimated cost o_f decommissioning: $740,000 4

This is the most pessimistic estimate because it is based on the assumption

~ that all materials within the biological shield, the coolant system, and the fuel storagespit are classified as radioactive wastes and must-be shipped 1

and buried.

Statement of Intent:

Funds for decommissioning will be obtained when neces--

4 sary.

The Reactor Staff.will update the cost estimate annually by applying.the 1

latest charges to the transportation and burial category, and by applying the current escalator toL labor-and materials-dependent categories.
