A routine, unannounced safety inspection was conducted on June 5-
7, and 26, 1990 at your research reactor facility in Gaithersburg,
Maryland. The purpose _of the inspection was to review the status
of
the
radiological- controls
program
at
the
facility.
The
inspection indicated that the radiological' controls functions at
the reactor facility are being conducted in accordance with NRC
requirements and also in accordance with generally accepted good
health physics practices.

Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were identified.
