Friday, February 21, 2020 10:25:32 PM To my citizens in the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, I remember well, when nuclear plants were first commissioned in the New York/New Jersey/Pennsylvania area.

The reason why I opposed them then is the same now... no permanent storage solution for nuclear waste. If that cost is included in the total life cycle cost of nuclear energy, it becomes a losing financial proposition.

And now, having reaped whatever benefits they could while Indian Point Nuclear Plant operated, Entergy wants to escape their obligation to manage the long term costs of decommissioning and waste storage.

If the NRC allows Entergy to sell its obligation to ANYONE, it is complicit in sticking it to the public.

It gives me no pleasure to say, I told you so, Jeff Tyler 37 Knoll Terrace Hazlet, NJ 07730
