SUMMARY
TheNuclearRegulatoryCommission(NRC)isamendingitsregulations regarding Office of Management ana Budget (0MB) clearance pursuant to the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1980. This action is necessary to inform the public that OMB clearance has been obtained for the information collection requirements contained in 10 CFR Part 81 under control number 3150-0121.

SUPPLEMt.NTARY INFORMATION:
The OMB regulations which implement the Paperwork Reduction Act 5 CFR Part 1320, provide in pertinent part that " ten or more persons" are deemed to be involved when a recordkeeping or reporting requirement is contained in a rule of general applicability. See 5 CFR 1320.7(s)(1).

t Accordingly, t 81.8 is being revised to correctly indicate this fact.
Becodse this is an amendment dealing with agency practice and procedures, the notice and comment provisions of the Administrative Procedure Act do not apply pursuant to S U.S.C. 553(b)(A).
The amendment is effective upon publication in the Federal Register. Good cause exists to dispense with the usual 30-day delay in the effective date because the am2ndment is of a J
minor and administrative nature dealing with the announcement of the clearance number under which OMB has approved the information collection requirements contained in 10 CFR Part 81.
Environmental Impact: Categorical Exclusion The NRC has determined that this fina', rule is the type of action describedincategoricalexclusion10CFR01.22(c)(3). Therefore neither en environmental impact statement nor an environmental assessment has been prepared for this final rule.
Paperwork Reduction Act Statement This final rule does not contain a new or amended information collection requirement subject to the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1980 (44 U.S.C. 3501 et seq.). Existing requirements were approved by the Office of lianagement and Budget approval number 3150-0121.
