Dear Mr. Abraham:

We are planning a public information meeting in Prince Frederick. MD the end of Augunt, to learn about decommissioning Calvert C11ffs-nuclear power plant.

We are writing to ask-you to' provide a speaker for this meeting to discuss the questions listed below.

We also are inviting the' Baltimore Qas & Electric Co. to provide a speaker.

We would like both speakers to address the following:

1. What are the NRC's criteria for decommissioning, and recommendations for implementation of decossissioning?
2. How will the NRC's "Below Regulatory Concern" policy affect criteria for and-implementation of decommissioning?
3. What are the NRC's criteria for extending the operating license of Calvert Cliffs nuclear power plant, and how would this affect its decommissioning?
4. Does-BO&B have additional criteria for decommissioning?
5. Who will decide when it is time :for Calvert Cliffs to be decommissioned?
6. How will public input fit into this decision-making process?
7. How much do you estimate it will cost to decommission Calvert Cliffs nuclear power plant?

How will it be financed?

8. What is the anticipated time schedulo for decommissioning?
9. How many workers do you estimate will be needed for decommissioning?

How many of the present workforce would be eligible for this work?

10. If the federal repository for high level radioactive waste is not operational at the time of decommissioning, where will the irradiated reactor, irradiated fuel roda and other radiomotive waste be stored?
