l My staff has completed their review of Project Interface Document (PID)
No. 03-S-34 for the.Durango.-Colorado, Uranium Mill Tailings Remedial Action site and concur with the proposed change to the specifications.
Also, PID Nos. 03-S-32 and 03-S-33 were received, and NRC agrees with the
' Class'II designations.
However, You should be aware-that documented failures of saturated engineered' fills. hat.t been attributed to blasting in the close p'oximity.
DOE may want to have their technical contractor revisit the proposed change.
