This letter confirms verbal authorization provided to Barbara Bill by Brenda DuBose, of my staff, to commence work under the subject task order effective June 19, 1990 with an established ceiling of $31,668.42, in accordance with the task order procedures of the subject contract, this letter definitizes Task Order No. 3.

This effort shall be performed in accordance with the enclosed Statement of Work and the Contractor's rev;;cd proposal dated June 13, 1990, incorporated herein by reference.

Task Order No. 3 shall be in ef fect from June 19, 1990 through June 22, 1990, with a cost ceiling of $31,668.42.

The amount of $31,573.37

- represents the total estimated costs and the amount of $95.05 represents the fixed fee.

'BACKGR0VHD NRC headquarters Special ' Inspection Granch has the responsibility! to obtain design consultants.to support inspections. There'are several varieties of inspections that utilize design inspectors.

These include Safety ' System Outage Modification Inspections (SSOMI), Safe.y System Functional inspections (SSFI), Electrical Distribution functional Inspections (EDFI), and-Engineering.

p All of 'these inspections require on-site inspection activities.- Each inspector.-

normally operates 1 independently while pursuing their. area of concern.. For this reason site. access training is necessary to allow the' consultants to obtain
