action plan developed to respond to NRC Generic Letter 88-14. " Instrument Air Supply System Problems Affecting Safety-Related Equipment."

'The remaining action was to revise Maintenance Procedure (MP) 12-4, " Valve l4 Air Actuators", to include periodic maintenance inspections for in-line l
filter / regulators and lubricators. Steps have been incorporated into the i
l
. procedure to include preventive maintenance checks of oil level in lubricators.
In addition, performance testing is performed on each regulator.
If the regulator performance is not within tolerances,.
l corrective maintenance is performed'to troubleshoot and rework the l
regulator or in-line filter as required. A revision to MP 12-4 was l
completed as scheduled in April 1990.
