Completion of Requirements of Order Modifying License (Inspection Report No. 99990001/89-001)
On June 2, 1989, an Order Modifying License was issued to James River Corporation which required:
(1) an onsite radiological audit to be performed of each facility owned by the licensee which uses NRC-licensed material, and results reported to NRC Region I; (2) an audit plan and qualifications of those performing the audit be submitted within 60 days of the effective date of the Order; (3) completion of such audits and submission of reports to NRC Region I within 120 days of approval of the plan by the Regional Administrator; (4) the development and submittal of a corporate audit plan to NRC Region I for approval within 30 days of completion of the initial facility audits which is sufficient to confirm that the licensee's facilities meet the requirements of 10 CFR 31.5 and any other commitments made to NRC by the Corporation; and (5) implementation of such corporate audit plan within 7 days of the Regional Administrator's approval.
We have reviewed your actions in complying with the Order, and have determined that you have satisfactorily completed all of the terms and conditions.
Consequently, the Order is considered closed.
In accordance with-10 CFR 2.790(a), a copy of this letter will be placed in the Public Document Room.
