' about= June 27,'1990 to Georgia Power Company. -This action is based on the V3 licensee's failure to protect Safeguards Information.- The adjustment factors j in the Enforcement Policy were considered in determining the amount of the civil penalty, and the base amount was mitigated due to the licensee's

identification of A: violation and-the corrective measures that it implemented following'that identirication. However, the base amount was also escalated due to the licensee's continued poor performance in this area.

It should be noted that the licensee has not been specifically informed of the enforcement action. ~T he' schedule of issuance and notification is:
