INP0/NRC COORDINATION MEETING MINUTES. May 31, 1990 l
On Thursday, May 31, 1990, the staff of the Division of Licensee Performance and Quality Evaluation met with staff from INP0's Division of Training and Evaluation. The purpose of the meeting was to exchange information about training in the nuclear industry. The meeting was held in accordance with the Memorandum of Agreement, dated October 20, 1989.
The Agenda for the meeting is enclosed.
The major items of the Agenda consisted of an update by INPO of the accredited program status and their shift supervisor project and NRC discussion of their inspection of licensee training programs end the' enforcement process. The process for NRC observation of INPO teams was also discussed.
Issues related to the relationship between INPO accreditation and NRC operator licensing were reviewed.
