Service Electric & Gas Company (PSE&G) responded to Generic Letter (GL 88-11 1 and subsequent requests for additional information regarding radiation embrittlement of reactor vessel materials.

With the assistance of EG&G, Idaho, Inc.. the staff has completed its review of the licensee's responses to the GL. The staff's findings are provided in' the enclosed safety evaluation (SE). Based on its evaluation, the' staff has concluded that the current pressure-temperature limits for heatup, cooldown, leak test and criticality of the reactor end its cooling system are acceptable

and they may be maintained in the Hope Crtek Technical Specifications.
