Dear Dr. Baker:
This refers to your applintion dated September 22, 1989, as supplemented January 24, 1990, requesting renewal of Certificate of Compliance No. 9160 for the Model Nos. 20-VS and 40.VS packages. Since the application was sub.
mitted at least 30 days prior to the capiratlon of-the Certificate of Compliance, the Certificate of Compliance will not be-deemed to have expired until the application has finally been determined.
In connection with our review, we need the information identified in-the enclosure to this letter.
This information should be provided within 90 days from the date of this letter. The additional information requested by this letter should be submitted in the form of revised pages to the application.
We understand that Amersham does not desire to fabricate additional units of the Model Nos. 20.VS and 40.VS packages.
Lecause the Safety Analysis Report does not specify the codes, standards and procedures for fabricating and inspecting the packages, we plan to add a condition to the renewed certificate which will preclude the fabrication of new packagint,.
