50-328 In accordance with 10 CFR Part 50.59, we are enclosing 40 copies of a requested amendment to the operating licenses DPR-77 and DPR-79 for a change to the Sequoyah Nuclear Plant units 1 and 2 technical specifications (Enclosure 1).
The proposed amendment requests a change in Tables 3 3-9 and 4.3-6 to delete the pressurizer relief tank level instrumentation. The justification to support the proposed change is provided in Enclosure 2.
In accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR Part 170.22, we have determined the proposed amendment to be Class III for unit 1 and Class I for unit 2.
This classification is based on the fact that the amendment involves a single safety issue and a second essentially identical unit at the same site. The remittance of $4,400 is being wired to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission,. Attention: Licensing Fee Management Branch.
