Dear Mr. Kepp' c:

This letter, telecopied to your office, is intended to satisfy the requirement for prompt notification of a Reportable Occurrence in accordance with Specification 6.11.2.a of the Duane Arnold Energy Center Technical Specifications.

Technical Specification paragraph (s) violated: 3.7.A.3.a Description of Occurrence:

During nonnal opsration surveillance testing, differential pressure switches PDS-4304 and 4305 tripped out-of spec high at 0.65 and 0.7 psid, respectively. Technical Specification 3.7.A.3.a requires the setpoints to be 0.5 psid. PDS-4304 and 4305 provide opening signals for the torus to reactor building vacuum breakers CV-4304 and CV-4305, respectively. The pressure switches were immediately recalibrated and functionally tested satisfactory.
